From 805 Freeway: take exit 25B Miramar Road (La Jolla Village Dr.) going West, after 0.4 miles make a right on Towne Centre Drive, after 0.4 miles make a left on Eastgate Mall, after 500 feet our office building will be on your left.
From 5 Freeway: take exit 29 Genesee Ave. going East, after about 1.5 miles make a left on Eastgate Mall, and after 0.3 miles our building will be on your right.

Free Jikiden Reiki Experience Session

If you are interested in learning Jikiden Reiki, but you've never had it before, you can come in for a Taiken-Kai, which is a free Jikiden Reiki experience session.

All of our classes are taught by Dr. Maria Danilychev, MD, a certified Jikiden Reiki Shihan, credentialed by the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Japan, who is also a practicing Medical Doctor. (Don't let the medical credentials intimidate you, Dr. Danilychev is very easy-going and approachable and her combined expertise in Reiki and Medicine makes this Reiki training that much more special.)

Masaki Nishina's Research on Hayashi Sensei in Hawaii
Masaki Nishina (Dai Shihan of Jikiden Reiki, Western Reiki Master and author of several books on Reiki) has published his research into the history of Reiki, particularly some of the Hawaiian Japanese newspaper articles reporting on Hayashi-sensei’s 1937-38 visit to Hawaii. DOING THINGS RIGHT CLASS - The class was both helpful and informative and clearly outlined the irony within the laws. Dr. Danilychev made a complex topic understandable within context of contradictory laws (State vs. San Diego). REIKI PRACTICE TIPS - Dr. Danilychev presents information in an understandable and empathetic style. This class is relevant, in particular the discussion on boundaries. The portion on confidentiality was presented in a concise and understandable manner. The class format left plenty of time for discussion and the use of video was very interesting.
